It’s easy to get so caught up in our day to day existence that we lose sight of some rather important things. Though living among our fellow human beings occasionally involves some level of competition to see who gets the prize, there are far more realistic ways of viewing ourselves than identifying with false notions of winners and losers. This is especially true when one becomes so obsessed with the idea of pursuing fame and glory that they are left with little if any time for anything else.
There are many false golden rings we learn to chase from the influences of the societies we happen to get born into. And the things some will do for attention or to try and get others to accept them can take suspectable individuals far too far from reality into a dark and perverse state of mind. A perfect example would be those who get so wrapped up in feelings of superiority or specialness that they actually start believing their imaginary friend in the sky has chosen them among everyone else for a special assignment for which they will be handsomely rewarded after they die. In living out this fantasy, some will commit the most hideous abuses against humanity and their fellow humans all in the incredibly selfish if not downright pathological quest for fame and glory.
Does anyone in their right mind actually believe the crazed individuals who obliterated themselves and others by flying planes into buildings on 9/11 are now enjoying endless sex with 77-virgins? Even if any of this were true which it obviously isn’t, any idiot should be able to understand, that you would run through 77-virgins pretty quickly especially if you stop to consider just how long eternity is. By now, those crazed individuals who surely had second thoughts in the last moments of their existence would surely be asking for a fresh batch of virgins if they could which obviously they can’t with their mouths located somewhere up their assholes. Idiots!
